Inspired by the playful yet deceptive nature of games, Jester's Maze explores the fine line between order and chaos, where nothing is quite as it first appears.
A hypnotic arrangement of geometric shapes creates an intricate maze of shifting patterns and optical illusions. Contrasting tones of black, grey and warm gold play tricks on the eye, creating a sense of movement and depth that challenges the viewer to make sense of what lies before them.
Meticulously constructed from 104 individually handcrafted and painted cement pieces, the artwork celebrates repetition, precision and the beauty of unpredictability.
Much like a jester, the maze teases and misleads, reminding us that not every puzzle has an obvious solution, and sometimes the trick is simply in how we choose to see it.
